The Buffalo Bills headed into week 1 of the 2021 season much younger, but also inexperienced. The Bills were slated to start 5 rookies (4 on defense) to start the season. HC Chris Spaulding knew that there were going to be growing pains as his young team tried to figure out how to mesh and function together as a unit. The results of the first 3 weeks showed that Coach Spaulding was correct. As the Bills dropped 2 of their first 3 games. Silver lining was week 2 where the Bills dominated the Jets 41-13.

Week 1 vs the Dolphins: The game was close at halftime. Dolphins pulled away with 3 Cam Newton picks in the 2nd half. Bills tried to rally by putting in rookie 2nd round pick Leonard Carrington but couldn't get enough stops on defense as the Dolphins drained the clock. Final Score Dolphins 31-10

Week 2 vs the Jets: Coach Spaulding decided to start Leonard Carrington after Cam Newton's horrid week 1. Carrington and the bills defense did not disappoint. Carrington passed for 259 yards and 2 TDs w/ no picks. Bills defense forced 4 INTs and cruised to a victory. Final Score: Bills 41-13

    Week 3 vs the Bucs
: The Bills as a whole had a horrible game. 2 fumbles, 1 pick and a defense that was terrible at best. Bills offense could get nothing going all day and the defense was leaking like a failing tampon. To make matters worse, Randy Bullock was 0-4 on FGs and 0-1 on XPs. Another showing like that will likely result in Bullock being released. Final Score: Bucs 30-6
